Bushy, leafy annual herb ideal for pots or well-drained spots in sun or shade. Allow it to seed for a good succession but tendency to bolt so keep trimmed to prolong its season. One of the finest but most undervalued culimary herbs. Good with eggs, cheese and meats and as one of the fine herbes of French cooking. Add late to cooking so the delicate aniseed flavour is not lost.
