Yarrow and Honey
3 tablespoons of honey, 2 tablespoons of yarrow flowers, 2 tablespoons full fat yoghurt and an egg yolk
Method: Make a cup of yarrow tea with hot water and the flowers, and steep for 10 minutes. Strain it into a bowl, and mix with the honey, egg yolk and yoghurt so it forms a smooth, thick mixture. Apply to your face and leave for 30 minutes, before dabbing off with warm water and cotton wool.
Lavender and Chamomile
2 tablespoons each of fresh lavender flowers and chamomile flowers; and 1 tablespoon each of honey and porridge oats
Method: Make a cup of lavender and chamomile tea in a mug with boiling water and steep for 10 minutes. Add the strained liquid to the honey and oats, and stir til it forms a thick paste. Apply the cooled mix to your face and leave on for around 20 minutes, before rinsing away with warm water.
Rose and Calendula
2 tablespoons each rose petals and calendula petals, dried and whizzed into powder; 2 tablespoons yoghurt and one tablespoon rose water.
How to make it: Combine everything into a thick mix, and gently apply to the face. This mask will also gently exfoliate your skin at the same time. Rinse off with warm water.
